I (the writer of this lovely blog, aka GegePet) am a mother. A mother of a very lively, very active little boy, and his little baby sister. This very active child's name is Decimus, or Deci for short. A unique name for a unique kid. Whether it's sleeping flat on his face, or calling everything under the sun a "bawl," he is like no kid you've ever met. He comes from a huge, loving, and supportive family who's own dynamics make everything interesting. His own father and mother are about as different as two people can get. How could Deci escape his inevitable cuteness? God made him special, and we all love him very much.
Deci has already taught me so much, not just about motherhood, but also about life, so I thought I'd share some weekday lessons as I learn from him. Some are funny, some are touching, and hopefully a few are even helpful.
